Radhika Shapoorjee is the President of IPAN Hill & Knowlton, India. She drives a culture and philosophy that enables true collaboration and teamwork across offices at IPAN Hill & Knowlton within India and outside. She has provided direction to create innovative campaigns in the market place for various clients like Max New York Life, Sony, The Government of Karnataka, LG, South Afrika and Unilever brand across category. Radhika has also provided media training and conducted messaging workshops for clients across sectors. She has worked with clients to manage issues and crisis across sectors including aviation, financial, media & entertainment, healthcare and FMCG.

Prior to IPAN Hill & Knowlton, Radhika was Chief Innovation & Quality Officer at Genesis Burson-Marsteller where she provided strategic counsel to clients across sectors. Radhika has around two decades of hands-on experience that includes direct marketing, sales, film-making, advertising and public relations. Her early career included nine years in advertising at FCB-Ulka where she was involved in strategic planning and the creation of multimedia campaigns for large national and international brands.

Radhika is in the National Advisory Committee of India@75 which is a very large CII initiative. She was selected to be part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She is in the third batch of the India Leadership Initiative (ILI) Fellowship program of the Aspen Institute. She writes on a regular basis for Marketing Whitebook brought out by Businessworld. She is a graduate in History (Honours) from St. Stephen's College. She has played national level basketball, and is an avid swimmer. Radhika is married to Mehernosh with two lovely children Taera and Zahaan.

Vinod Moorthy heads the Mumbai office as Vice President. He has been associated with the Indian communications industry for over 15 years, and has exposure spanning diverse sectors.

At Sampark, his client portfolio included a wide spectrum of clients in insurance, financial services, media, auto, and aviation sectors.

Prior to that, he headed the Mumbai operations of Good Relations (GRI), where his client portfolio included retail, media, entertainment, FMCG, consumer durables, hospitality, tourism, lifestyle and fashion.


He started his career in 1994 with GRI in Mumbai. In his initial seven-year stint with GRI, he was responsible for the successful introductions of several global brands into the Indian market, including Levi’s & Conpaq and grew to be the Director of GRI’s South India operations.


He then returned to Mumbai to put in a two year stint heading GCI, the PR Division of Grey Worldwide, as its General Manager, before returning to GRI.

His current clients include Goldman Sachs; The Blackstone Group; Citibank; United Stock Exchange; Avendus Capital; Hindustan Unilever; Castrol; Kingfisher Airlines and Intel.

He has undertaken media training for senior spokespersons of leading corporates and implemented crisis management systems and strategies. His recommendations for Crisis Management case studies have been published in Indian business periodicals.

He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, from the prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and is graduate of Physics from the University of Mumbai.

Lavang Asthana Khare heads the offices in Delhi and Kolkata for IPAN Hill & Knowlton. She is responsibilities include giving strategic direction for key clients, CSR, brand communication, media training for senior executives, crisis management and business development.

Lavang is a communications specialist with a rich experience of fourteen years in formulating, and executing external and internal communications strategies. She has worked in the agency-world as well as in corporate communication, so has been a client as well as an advisor. She was associated to LinOpinion, Lintas PR division (Interpublic Group) for almost a decade with two innings. Her second innings was as Senior Communications Director for the Northern and Eastern Region. She was responsible for business growth, client and team management and Crisis Counseling.

She has worked across categories including marketing, technology, telecom, financial, healthcare, retail, media & entertainment and energy. Some of the clients counseled by her have been Highland Distillers, ITC, LG Electronics, Raymond, Videocon, Spice Group, Giorgio Armani, World Gold Council, J.P. Morgan, British Gas, British Airlines, British Telecom, MAIT, Sri Lankan Airlines, Bose Electronics amongst many others. Before joining back LINOpinion, she worked for the Business Software Alliance (BSA) as Regional Marketing Head of the India Operations. Key focus areas were creating awareness on Intellectual Property Rights and benefits of software licensing best practices.

Lavang has an in-depth understanding of corporate communication, brand building, advertising & public relations. Her core strengths include internal and external communications with multiple stakeholders i.e. strategic media relations, crisis management, corporate social responsibility programs, coalition building and opinion mobilization among influencer groups.

Sudha Sarin

Sudha Sarin has joined IPAN Hill & Knowlton, New Delhi as MD, Public Affairs. A veteran in the PR industry her key areas of expertise are Corporate Reputation Building and Management, Brand and Marketing Communications, Consumer PR, Strategic Brand Building, Strategic Issues Management, Crisis Management, Financial PR and Public Advocacy Communication programmes.

She has had an enriching experience of over 20 years and has handled a diverse portfolio of clients from varied sectors, both at national and international forums, which include power aviation, IT, television broadcast, telecom, etc. Having worked with both advertising and PR agencies, Sudha leverages integrated brand marketing strategies effectively for better results faster.

Sudha began her career at Sampark, in 2006, as the National Head for Strategic Planning and Business Growth and currently holds the position of the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Partner with the company. Her key areas of responsibilities include a strategic insight and perspective into the business both new and established.

Sudha has worked with UNOCAL, NATIONAL GRID of UK, NTPC, GAIL, Sun Microsystems, Guinness UDV, GUCCI, CARTIER, LYCOS, MTV, AXN, Airbus, Lenovo, Bose Systems, Fashion Design Council of India, Tech Mahindra, Info Edge, TERI amongst others.

Sudha has a Masters in English Literature from the Delhi University with a linguistics degree and a diploma in Marketing and Strategic Planning. Sudha has conducted various media training programmes with corporate’s across the board and has also assisted companies in formulating their Crisis Communication Plan with a special focus keeping ethnic sensibilities and pressure groups in mind.She lectures at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication and the Amity School of Marketing.

Tarana joined IPAN Hill and Knowlton in January, 2011. Tarana heads Hill and Knowlton’s operations in the South in addition to leading the Technology Practice for India. Her key responsibilities would include giving strategic direction for key clients, brand communication, media training for senior executives, crisis management and business development. In addition to building the company’s business in the South and also in the technology practice.

Tarana’s career spans over 18 years in the PR industry. Her last assignment was with 20:20 Media, Bangalore where she has worked for over a decade. She was driving new business initiatives, PR programs for emerging markets, strategic planning and managed client and media relations. She has worked with clients such as Ford India, Lakme, Ponds, Allergan India, Mobil, Gautier, Seagram’s Texas Instruments, Honeywell Technology Solutions Labs, Philips, Citrix, Wipro Technologies, EMC Corporation, Cadence Design Systems, Autodesk, i2 Technologies, Nortel Networks etc to name a few. She has a deep understanding of the PR as well as the technology domain and will drive that expertise at IH&K.

In the past she has also worked in the Chennai market when she was with Corporate Voice Shandwick as well as with Ogilvy PR.

She holds Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
